What difficulty could a young man of about 15 years of age, barely 1.6 meters tall and without armor, except for a sling and a smooth stone, represent for a paladin with experience in war, fully equipped for the fight and 2.9 meters tall? Thinking with common sense, none; but considering the situation on the battlefield with spiritual criteria, that young man would have a great advantage.
In the name of the Lord of hosts, he put the stone in his sling and threw it and struck the Philistine in the forehead and he fell on his face to the ground; the boy went to the waters of courage, life and freedom; to take the stone without imperfection, type of power, holiness and victory in Jesus.
1 Samuel 17:45 NKJV
45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
Matthew 21:43-45 NKJV
43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
45 Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them.
John 7:37-38 NKJV
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Revelation 22:1-2 NKJV
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
