Humanity has sought to worship what it can prove by physical means, something or someone to identify itself; namely, the sun, the moon, an animal or a man with some extra capabilities. The point in question is that by not being able to explain their existence, the emptiness formed by so many and insistent questions, becomes more uncomfortable and unmanageable, to the extent that we do not want to recognize that the answers are beyond the visible, palpable and demonstrable.

Romans 1:20 NKJV

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
