As a child, he tried to socialize with lizards, to the point of chasing them into their dens; once, he put his little finger in an orifice where one of them had previously hidden, but received a painful response in the form of a bite from the animal. Mistakenly, he decided to "give it what it deserved" by forcefully inserting a small popsicle stick; fortunately, the one was protected in its burrow. In any case, the boy reflected on his absurd attitude and as an adult, he became very close to these small reptiles, getting to touch them with natural confidence.
When he was visiting a sister on her farm, he drove a motorcycle, but accidentally and by instinct of conservation, a huge dog managed to bite his ankle; days later, he tried to be close to the "assaulted" and to accompany him in the bed where he slept. It was very comforting to conclude that the canine had no fear of him.
If we are a threat to the animals, they will wisely understand this, but if we treat them in a friendly manner, they will be our protectors.
Genesis 9:1-2 NKJV
1 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.
Daniel 6:19-22 NKJV
19 Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. 20 And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! 22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”
