Modern geologists and geophysicists consider that the age of the Earth is about 4543.9 million years, but the data we can arrive at according to the Bible, is approximately 6000 years of existence; God, by His incomprehensible power, had the ability to give rise to the world from nothing, with a young appearance and much less years than those calculated by man; even if He had used the same carbon 14, He would not be right in the age of the globe. 6000 years of patience, 6000 years of forgiveness, 6000 years of opportunities, 6000 years, believing that we could overcome our dependence on weakness and sin; He even gave Himself through His Son Jesus, so that we would definitely have the opportunity to recover our eternal condition in perfection.

The clear and simple truth is that without His mercies, we would have perished for lack of hope; the Creator was our opportunity to return to life, and because of His compassionate nature, He gave mankind thousands of years to rethink their true origin.

Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV

Ephesians 2:12-13 NKJV
