Walking through the last places of existence, seeing how so many years of life are left behind, in the parsimony of time; with the most hidden and probably darkest secrets, which shame the soul.
But, if for some reason, someone were to say to you: Do you wish to rejuvenate thirty years of life". I wonder, what would such a person in question do? Up to the time of the proposal, he would have lived approximately seventy years; minus thirty, forty years!
Would he take advantage of his miraculous youth to be at peace with his family and acquaintances? Or, would he be helpful if he was not? Perhaps; would you return to the life of dissolution, living in hopeless pleasures?
What would you do with such an opportunity?
2 Kings 20:5-6 NKJV
5 “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. 6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”
Matthew 5:25-26 NKJV
25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.
1 John 2:15-17 NKJV
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
