What could a man of the highest social recognition in terms of family, enviable citizenship, outstanding intellectual preparation and wealth have seen or experienced, to leave all these possessions?

Was it a mature sentimental partner, a priceless treasure, unlimited power or, perhaps, worldwide fame? What happened was that he lived with the one incomparable Savior; in Him, he learned to have a priceless way of life, he received the peace that motivated respect and sincerity among his companions and brothers, he knew the true love based on forgiveness with which he helped to break the chains of many and by the authority and wisdom of the great master, he exposed the Truth that gives new life.

He experienced the miracle of a passionate and exemplary life, through the death of the Holy One, the true God made flesh.

Philippians 3:4-7 NKJV

4 though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee; 6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV

4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
