There are those who in a desperate eagerness to hide or justify their manifest weaknesses, considerably change or distort the meaning of the Holy nature of God; affirming, that because He is so good and perfect, He will not judge or condemn them. One thing is the expression of His eternal substance, which is Love, and quite another is their concept of the malice and conceit with which His immutable precepts may be violated.
He knows the thoughts and intentions of our hearts when we act; and with much anticipation, He knew where we want to go, with the purposes we have set for ourselves.
Simply and emphatically, He has self-love, He takes care of His own and His own.
