The most serious drawback for us adults in approaching young people, and even more so, children, is that we consciously or unconsciously forget that we experienced those times of life. For this reason, raising children becomes difficult to the extent that we, as parents, do not want to remember that we were immature like them in their normal growth.

The fissure in the relationship then, has already presented itself, when we do not strive to be and become them; the obligatory question then is:

Is it a commandment or purpose of God that, we do not completely abandon these ages or be like children or adolescents, in order to understand them, love them and educate them with the purpose of leading them towards a healthy and responsible maturity?

Matthew 5:8 NKJV

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Matthew 18:1-5 NKJV

1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Matthew 11:25 NKJV

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
