Recursive Simile

In a remote part of Africa, a missionary was given the urgent task of making himself understood to a tribe specialized in war and slaughter; with time, he came to the conclusion that the end of many war conflicts was reached when his enemy sacrificed the firstborn and heir to power. He gathered the chieftains of several towns involved, to tell them about the greatest prince of all times, possessor of unlimited wealth and power, and feared by every tribe, people and nation; who decided to leave all his majesty and dominion, to be sacrificed, and thus, to unite men in peace and freedom.

They were so perplexed and thoughtful that, in order to find a solution to their curiosity, they asked the servant of God who it was; he began to tell them the precious story of Jesus, and when he had finished, all the indigenous rulers and their communities believed in Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV

5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Isaiah 53:3-5 NKJV

3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
