Out of Time

Uncle, if because of my disobedience, rebelliousness and weaknesses without overcoming, I do not manage to go to the Presence of God, could it be that in His Power alone and encouraged by His amazing mercies, in some "moment" of the eternal punishment, He would give me a chance of salvation? The above reflection in the biblical context is impossible to answer, especially when the scriptures themselves recommend not to think beyond what is written. A consideration of this kind is most likely motivated by man's inability to accept love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, in addition to the extra-biblical trust in divine compassion.

He will consider by his ineffable goodness, the work of those who sincerely sought to respect His Word, and it will be tested by fire. The very laws established by the Most High God are also a hindrance to many; but these, on the other hand, do approve the commands of the prince of darkness.

He made no reference to the damned after being in hell, only about their suffering; nothing, apart from this, we are authorized to teach!

Romans 11:22 NKJV

22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

1 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV

6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 NKJV

13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Revelation 19:11-13 NKJV

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

Deuteronomy 29:29 NKJV

29 “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
