While on an evagelistic mission in the jungle of Magdalena Medio in Colombia, we visited a tribe of half-naked Indians, whom no one had ever had the opportunity to visit; they believed in the sun and the moon as their gods, but when we shared with them that these great stars were created by someone eternal and almighty, as clean and humble children, they accepted it wholeheartedly. Something that struck me positively is that the women, when they saw that we were approaching the hut, covered their bodies. Who taught them such admirable and neat behavior?
Romans 2:13-16 NKJV
13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
Romans 14:19-23 NKJV
19 Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. 20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. 21 It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak. 22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. 23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
