"Faces we see; hearts, we do not know"; wisely expressed by people who have witnessed the drastic and hypocritical change in whom they had trusted so much; unfortunate experience, similar to the one lived and narrated by those who were lost and disoriented in the desert; literally, it is terrifying! Controlled by a desperate mind and chained to emotions and desires, both cloudy and apparent, forcing them to perform behaviors opposite to reality. Undecipherable friendships and relationships, expressed from a heart that is murky, manipulative, insensitive and oblivious to the slightest affection and care for those it claims to love.
Considering the situation from a more objective sense, such a disposition, has a certain degree of diabolical possession mixed with an incomprehensible conscious state; lies covered by supposed truths, which cancel all frankness of the exponent; dark and turbulent manifestations of affection that despair the soul of the receiver.
Isaiah 29:13-15 NKJV
13 Therefore the Lord said:
“Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths
And honor Me with their lips,
But have removed their hearts far from Me,
And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work
Among this people,
A marvelous work and a wonder;
For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish,
And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
15 Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord,
And their works are in the dark;
They say, “Who sees us?” and, “Who knows us?”
2 Timothy 3:3-5 NKJV
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
