Limits

Someone, perhaps, in moments of despair, sadness, illness, death or tribulation, would express: "when they take you beyond your limits, prostrate yourself!" The human being's capacity for sacrifice is usually weak; the difficulties and efforts to reach a project or ideal, added to the sentimental and subjective appreciations of others, could lead to confusion and misery, both emotional and material.

One woman, convinced of her costly and uncomfortable illness, regardless of the pointing out of a multitude of followers, prostrated herself before the Master.

Albert Einstein said, "Man is only great when he is on his knees."

Philippians 2:8-11 NKJV

8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Luke 8:46-47 NKJV

46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
