Every year, an evangelist used to visit a town heavily influenced by a dangerous and malicious witch; this one, tired of losing so many followers because of the annual campaigns of the servant of God, vowed to kill him on his next visit, immediately he left "his space".
During this time and on the date estimated by the follower of the occult forces, the preacher said goodbye to the believers to leave; crossing a bridge in the middle of the thick forest, the woman ready, armed and ready to attack him with a sharp machete, never came out of her hiding place!
The following year, the first person who, desperately approached the man of God, was the witch to ask him: who was that radiant giant who had accompanied him a year before? He answered her: he was alone; after the biblical expositions, the woman accepted in her heart the Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalms 34:7 NKJV
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
Hebrews 1:13-14 NKJV
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said:
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?
Psalms 3:3-4 NKJV
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield [a]for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
Jeremiah 20:11-13 NKJV
11 But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One.
Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail.
They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper.
Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.
12 But, O Lord of hosts,
You who test the righteous,
And see the mind and heart,
Let me see Your vengeance on them;
For I have pleaded my cause before You.
13 Sing to the Lord! Praise the Lord!
For He has delivered the life of the poor
From the hand of evildoers.
