Fears, negative memories and violent experiences of the past, settle in the soul, uninvited; like ghosts or witches performing incantations and prayers with which they interfere in happiness, peace and freedom.
Love itself is seriously limited in its expression; as if in turbulent waters, submerged in destructive chaos, it is about to succumb and yield its favors to chance and probabilities; peace, together with freedom, run desperately in the midst of the dark and dense fog, formed by pain and resentments not overcome.
1 John 4:7-8,18 NKJV
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV
18 Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
