From the Heart

A work sustained by a grateful, passionate, confident and serene heart will bear fruits that strengthen the desire to continue doing it with more dedication and hope; how much more if it is done for God?

When the spirit weakens for some reason, the work becomes difficult and tedious; for that reason, many focus their work with a purpose that supports them so as not to lose heart or get tired of fighting; their achievements are directed to their mother, their children or to fulfill a debt so as not to lose peace.

In the service and well-being of others, it is imperative that it be first developed from selflessness and love. A small and sincere favor could mean eternal payment.

Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV

23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Matthew 10:42 NKJV

42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 NKJV

13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
