The inclination of man tends to evil and disobedience, the consequences of his inadequate deeds force him to live in the misery of guilt and self-deception; with heavy yoke, he is subjected to bow his head before the dark power of sin, fleeing from temperance and control over weakness; to again and again, engage in suffering originated in spiritual decadence.
But, though fallen nature seeks to seduce him, he was created in the image and likeness of Almighty God; and through faith in the sacrificial power of Jesus Christ, he will dwell in heavenly places of eternal freedom and peace.
