"Union must save us, as division will destroy us if it comes to enter among us." Simón Bolivar.
Although the desire of the liberator became a reality in 1821, in the unity of Venezuela, Ecuador, Panama and Colombia, this would not last long; because in 1831, the separation of these nations overshadowed his famous thought. In Jesus, freedom and later communion among peoples, are certain; since the freedom of man does not consist in agreements or fragile and imperfect constitutions, but in establishing peace and freedom in hearts; being so, it is easier to put men in agreement through coexistence and solidarity.
The approaches of fraternity in humanity will always be subordinated by the inconstancy and vulnerability of the character, as well as by the imperfect, passing and inconstant beliefs and moral principles; and even if the revolutionary cause of a leader leads him to death itself, after this, his ideals do not transcend far and have little impact.
Ephesians 2:13-19 NKJV
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
Romans 5:13-17 NKJV
13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. 17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
